Since 9/11,the Muslim world has always been linked with terrorism, radicalism, extremism and martyrdom.

It is however sad, that the same people who advocate these messages were the same people who launched the sinful  war that should have never been authorized and should have never been waged against  the Islamic countries like Afghanistan and Iraq.

The messages of hatred, bigotry and blatant lie of generalization of Islam as a religion that promulgates the killing of civilians and innocent through the terrorists attacks are regretted.

When you grew up in a country like Malaysia, where you would not have the problems of practicing  the religion publicly,  where you never  live in fear and danger of random rockets and missiles, when you don’t perceive that the only way to free from that kind of  oppression  is the martyrdom, you will be astonished, after living in a Western country, that the people perceive you much less the same they perceive Ben Laden .

When the attacks in Bombay  happened about a month ago. The Muslim world again had been lambasted by the accusation of promoting terrorism and extremism.

Some people say, that these messages are conveyed by the extremism and chauvinism in Christian and Jewish world.

Ironically, this the first time in my life that I have the opportunity to have an Israeli classmate. Well, when you’re in the University system in France, which is always being regarded as second class or perhaps third class  of education,  you  should expect that the University is very generous to accept every people around the world. It is not an Ivy League university or let alone to be compared with OxBridge. It is not a free university, but everyone can be there.

This does not necessarily mean that it is easy or  a “degree-mills” type of university, but an Israeli who had been in IDF (Israel Defense Forces) or a Tunisian woman in about the same age of my sister, in her early thirties can enroll as a student.

To make it more classic, the proportion of foreigner and French is quite surprisingly bizarre to achieve the status quo of a French university in France. 60:40, the proportion of foreigner and French in my class. A friend of mine dubbed the degree title which originally be named Science Pour Ingéniur, SPI ( Science for Engineer) as Science  Pour Immigré (Science For Immigrants).

Yes, you would not find any combats or throw-stone scenario between this former Jewish soldier and the Morocco,Algeria or the Tunisia students.

Of course, it’s quite interesting, because the last year, I just heard only “me” spoke the other language than French.  But, this year, I think I am minority in the sense of being in the middle of foreigner per se. You will hear people speak Arab, Hebrew, Wollof (Senegal ethnic language), Gabonais , Persian, Creol (Madagascar), Berber (Algerian) and last but not least Malay.

I am pretty sure that I’m not in the language center or the preparation center.

It seems that I’m  digressing a little, from the chore message that I want to convey. So, back to the game.

The media, particularly the Western media has been ignorance in stirring  a hatred and bigotry  against Muslim world.

I recently found an intimidating article by a prominent Jewish writer,Lawrence Kulak, who suggests that the war on terror, or shall I say the war on Muslim terrorism can only be won by seeking avenge against the innocent and civilian Muslims, the same as the killings of Christian and Jewish innocents in Mumbai, he claims.

I put the excerpt of his writings which is quit jarring and disturbing.

Moreover, the only way to deal with Islamic terrorists is the same way in which they deal with their victims. Muslims believe in the literal interpretation of the Biblical doctrine of an eye for an eye, and they do not have respect for anything perceived as a lesser standard of justice. They killed our innocents, and unless we kill theirs, they will go on killing ours.  The Torah, however, preaches a doctrine which, if implemented by the West, could finally put an end to all Islamic terror: If somebody is coming to kill you, rise up and kill him first.”

Any and all collateral damage in the form of casualties to friends, relatives, or anyone connected to the lives of these terrorists should be swiftly ignored.

Well, Mr. Kulak, apparently that your effort to demonize the Muslim is masked by your logic and reason of combatting the terrorism.

The excavation of the Holy Land

I wonder how the Jewish community will denounce and decry  if the Christians  suggest the crucifixion of every Rabbi to seek avenge of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ or in my interpretation Isa Al-Maseh.

I wonder how the Christian  community will react if the Jewish suggest that every Christian is responsible for the Holocaust (Shoah).

The war on terrorism should not be taken for granted to insult or to calumniate the Muslim world.

Such incitement can create dangereous  ramifications  to the world stabilization and peace.

Mr. Kulak, I am supremely confident that this time you’ve crossed the lines!
